Description:-

Annamalai University Distance Education offers Bachelor of Education, which is two years full time course. Candidates eligible for this course must have completed graduation degree.
 

Duration:- Two years

Eligibility for Admission:-

    A pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with main subject in Part III, namely – Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Environmental Science, Micro-Biology, History and Geography.
    In the case of Economics, Commerce and Home Science subjects, only P.G., qualification will be considered.
    Candidates having cross major subjects in P.G. Degree are not eligible.
    Candidate having a direct U.G., Degree (without +2 qualification), candidates having a direct P.G. Degree (without U.G. Degree) are not eligible.
    Admission will be made after written entrance examination.
    In accordance with NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognised by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible. However the allotment of optional subjects is at the discretion of the DDE.
