The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) is an engineering institute of Punjab University, Chandigarh and is listed amongst top 30 engineering colleges in India. It offers undergraduate (B.E), postgraduate as well as doctoral courses. The institute is granted funds from the central government to improve its infrastructure and facilities.

JOINT ADMISSION COMMITTEE is a body constituted by the Chandigarh Administration for conducting admissions to various B.E./ B.Tech./ B. Arch./ B.E.(Chemical) MBA courses.
B.E./ B.Tech Admission - will be made on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR).
