Chandigarh College of Architecture is one of the leading architectural institutes in the state of Punjab. It was established in the year 1961 as an integral part of Chandigarh’s master plan. The college has gained huge accolades for its excellent pedagogy in the field of planning and designing. It is affiliated to the Punjab University under the faculty of fine arts and design.

Being an architectural college, it imparts five years full time course of B.Arch. The course is divided into ten semesters. The first six semesters consist of theoretical subjects with basic knowledge about architecture, whereas the last two semesters include internship program in order to bridge the gap between the theatrical knowledge and practical experience with some research in town planning and thesis.


Admissions:

Admission will be made on the basis JEE(Main) for those students who have qualified in the Architecture Aptitude Test & obtained All India Rank (AIR) for B. Architecture/ B.Planning.

The institute is located at sector 12 in Chandigarh. The 5 acres campus has been accorded with various facilities like Cricket playground and Basketball court. There institute offers a separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
