Thirumalai Engineering College is an engineering college affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and founded in the year 1999. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides bachelor degree courses and diploma courses in engineering. College aims to provide opportunities and all other facilities that will help the students to grow physically strong, mentally sound and intellectually sharp.

Applicants can purchase the information booklet along with the application kit over the counter from the admission office at TEC by paying the prescribed fee. If the student wishes to apply for more than one course, separate application information booklets have to be bought.
 
MBA: A candidate seeking admission to MBA should have a qualified Bachelor Degree from any recognized University. The duration of the course is 2 years consisting of four semesters.
 
MCA: A candidate who Seek admission to MCA degree course should have studied mathematics either in +2 or in any Undergraduate level. 
 
BE: Candidates seeking an admission to B.E/ B.Tech courses should have complied with the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu. The norms would be the marks secured in the higher secondary board examinations and the marks obtained from competitive exams such as TNPCEE/ CET.
