The Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering & Technology (TKIET) established in the year 1983 has emerged as one of the leading technological institutes in Western Maharashtra. It offers courses in information technology, computer science, mechanical, chemical, civil, biotechnology and electronics engineering.
It aims to develop engineering professionals of high repute with sound work and life ethics. Initially, the Institute started with three undergraduate branches with 180 intakes and has now 498 intakes with seven disciplines and has more than 5000 alumni on its record.

Institute accepts valid scores of MT-CET & AIEEE entrance exams for various courses. Along with the valid score, candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
Selection will be completely done on the merit basis.
