St. Thomas' College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2000 and has been affiliated with West Bengal University of Technology & approved by AICTE. It was established with the intention to impart quality technical education to the students and imbibe confidence into the young talents graduating from the institution to stand up to the challenges of life with confidence.

Institute offers B.Tech course in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Admission to the college is through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Examination Admissions Board (WBJEEB).

The admission criteria are strictly based on his/her performance in the qualifying examinations.
