St. Joseph's College of Engineering came into existence in the year 1994 is a higher education institution in Chennai. It is under the administration of the Jeppiaar Educational Trust. The college is affiliated to the Anna University.

It gives high priority to Technical Education in order to meet the growing demands of trained engineers to various industrial and development projects in Tamil Nadu and the rest of India. The Institution has been declared as a Christian Minority Institution by appropriate authorities.

Admissions:

Students who wants to take admission in the college can collect the prospectus cum admission form from the admin office.

The candidate must have passed (10+2) Examination with at least 45% marks (40% for backward class from Maharashtra), on an average, in Physics+ Chemistry+ Math., English should be one of the remaining subjects.

Students will be selected on the merit basis of JEE Mains and TNPCEE entrance examination.
