Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, popularly Sri Ramchandran University was founded in the year 1985 by Sri Ramchandran Educational and Health Trust.. It is a tertiary care multi specialty teaching university hospital that strives to equip students with world class education in health care. It is accredited to Medical Council of India.

SRM is a deemed university that comprises of eight constituents that have 45 different departments imparting over 92 courses in health care and Para medical studies There are separate colleges for Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Science and Allied Health Sciences. MBBS is one of the flagship courses offered by the university. It also offers three years full time post graduate course of M.D in various disciplines such as Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Medical Gastroenterology and Paediatric Surgery.


Admissions:

MBA Program :-

Admission to this program will be on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test conducted by SRM University. However candidates with valid score in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, CMAT also can apply and will be considered for admission. Merit list will be prepared, candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview and selection will be made.

Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute is located near Porur district in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It has a sprawling lush green campus of an area of 175 acres that features the big medical centre comprises of eight floors. It has Wi-Fi enabled lecture halls, accorded with LCD projectors. The library has a fine collection of books related to the field of medical and Para medical courses. The campus also has Bank/ATM facility.
