Founded in the year 1958, St. Joseph’s College for Women aims at being a Centre of Academic Excellence which empowers young women to provide Intellectual Leadership and transform the world through Courage of Conviction, Optimism and Hope. It is affiliated to the Andhra University and offers undergraduate, post graduate, certificate, diploma and intermediate courses.

Those who do not receive any communication from the College should understand that they are not selected.

Admission into the postgraduate courses of the college is through Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) conducted every year in May-June.

Any student who has successfully completed the State SSC or any other courses recognized by the Central Government like CBSE or ICSE or equivalent to it or qualifying examination of other states is eligible for admission to the Intermediate course.
