Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering (SVPP), Puttur was established in 2001 and promoted by Tamilian Education Academy. SVPP is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anatapuramu (JNTUA); ISO 9001-2000 certified, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Accredited by NAAC with A grade. It offers 5 under graduate courses and 9 Post graduate courses in various disciplines. College is dedicated for carving the youth as dynamic, competent, valued and knowledgeable professionals who shall lead the Nation to a better future.

UG (B. Tech) admissions conducted through the common entrance test (EAMCET) by the Andhra Pradesh state government. While 70% of the seats allotted are based on merit in EAMCET, 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota. In addition, the Engineering Diploma holders, based on their merit at ECET (FDH), are admitted into Lateral Entry.
 
PG (M. Tech) admissions – 70% of M. Tech Admissions are made based on merit in GATE / PGECET. Remaining 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota.
 
MBA & MCA Admissions – 70% of MBA & MCA Admissions are made based on merit in ICET and remaining 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management Quota.
