Sri Sai College of IT & Management (SSBP) started with an aim to create a premier institute for IT and Management education in the economically backward region of Rayalaseema. Since its inciption in 2007, the institute is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantpur and offers full time MBA and MCA program to the students.

70% of the seats are filled by Convener, ICET through the online counseling process on the basis of rank obtained in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) being conducted by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. 30% of the seats (Management Quota) are filled by the college following the eligibility guidelines of the AP State Higher Education Council, Hyderabad. The eligibility criteria at present are as follows:
 
MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of ST/SC candidates) in the qualifying examination. 
 
MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of ST/SC candidates) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
