Silicon Institute of Technology, Sambalpur is a private engineering college founded in 2009. It is affiliated to BijuPatnaik University of Technology, Odisha and is the sister college of Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. It was set up and is managed by a non-profit making trust known as Samleswari Education Trust and aims to become a centre for excellence in the field of technical education and research.
