Biotechnology mainly deals with the two important areas of Science i.e. biology and technology. Today, it has become one of the most preferred options among many students. It is one of the most rapidly blooming career options catching today’s youngsters. Keeping this thing in mind, a wide range of Biotechnology institutes has been developed across India. Among all those, School of Biotechnology (SBT) under Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi is the prominent one. The University established its School of Biotechnology in the year 1986.
Being one of the prestigious institutes for Biotechnology in India, it offers two years full time Master level program of M.Sc in Biotechnology and Ph.D in Biotechnology.
The school is located within the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), which is located at New Mehrauli Road in New Delhi.
