Chhotu Ram Rural Institute of Technology was started in the year 1985 by Sir Chhotu Ram Educational Trust at Kanjhawala, Delhi, and is the first institute of its kind in a rural area of Delhi.

Initially, the Institute was offering Diploma Courses in three subjects but now it offers Diploma in 8 subjects.

Academically, the performance of the Institute is much better than that of Govt. Polytechnics in Delhi. The Institute is being run successfully under the guidance of Sir Chhotu Ram Educational Trust.
 


Admissions:

Admissions to college is done through online process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Forms will be available on the official website of college.

Candidates who have passed two year P.U.C./P.D.C/H.S.C (10+2) examination or an equivalent examination of any approved board or university with any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B or P.C.M.B will be eligible for B. Pharm course.

The admission criteria are strictly based on his/her performance in the qualifying examinations.

The Placement Cell of the college is a fully student coordinated body which works under the guidance of the Principal and Placement Cell Officer.

A majority of students from the college are placed in the software industry. A few students choose the core engineering sectors.
