Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy (SVCOP), Mysore was founded in the year 1993. The college is approved by AICTE and PCI and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
The college is offering D. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy with full commitment to promote highest professional and ethical standards of pharmacy to cater the needs of pharmacy education in the country and in addition M. Pharmacy course was added in the year 2011 and Pharm. D course was added in 2013.
All candidates meeting admission criteria for individual courses can apply either through online or offline process
Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent with optional subject Physics, Chemistry Biology, Botany / Zoology or Mathematics with not less than 50% aggregate marks in the above subjects to seek admission in the college.
Institute provides excellent academic and administrative facilities on campus. It offers students with an infrastructure for learning as well as facilities for simplifying the procurement of essential commodities and services. The campus includes facilities such as pollution free environment, separate hostel for boys and girls, transportation, sports activities, stationary and communication centre, gym, health centre, canteen, cafeteria, etc.
Most of the students of institute are placed before they actually complete their graduation. The placement activities are carried out when the students are in the final year. Number of companies visit and select the students through campus recruitment drives.
