Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering was founded in 1999 by the chairman of NootanSarvaVidhyalayKelvaniMandal with an aim of producing world class professionals in the specialized fields of Engineering and Management sciences. The Institute is constituted by Sankalchand Patel University, Visnagar and approved by all India Council for technical Education AICTE (New Delhi). It offers graduate and post graduate courses in engineering and computer science to their students.
