S.B.K.S. Medical College and Research Center is a constituent of the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University in Vadodra. Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University is a deemed university that was founded by K.M. Shah Charitable group. S.B.K.S. Medical College and Research Center was founded in the year 2001. In almost 12 years, the medical college has gained a wider recognition among medical aspirants in India. It is affiliated to the Gujarat University and is accredited to Medical Council of India (MCI).
S.B.K.S. Medical College and Research Center offers various medical and Para medical courses in under graduate, post graduate and Ph.D level. MBBS is five and a half years full time under graduate degree course, which also includes compulsory internship program. The college also conducts post graduate program of Master of Surgery in four different disciplines. It also stresses on super specialty program of Doctor of Medicine in Microbiology, Radio Diagnosis, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Anatomy and general medicine.
The Selection of the candidate is done through the Entrance Test which is conducted by the College.
The institute is located on the university’s campus in Vadodra, Gujarat. It has been accorded with ultra modern facilities that help in all round development of students in medical education. The campus also has some teaching hospitals, wherein the students are trained to upgrade their practical knowledge about medical and Para medical education. The campus has a good connectivity through road and rail as it is just 17 km away from the bus stand and railway station.
