Rungta College of Engineering and Technology established in 1966 is among the leading institutes in the state. It aims of conducting high standards of education in the field of engineering. Institute provides Laptop Based E-Learning in Wi Fi Networked Campus.
Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai. It offers five undergraduate courses and four post graduate courses.
 

Admissions:
Admission to the institutes can be secured by appearing in either State CGPET (Pre Engineering Test) Conducted at state level or by appearing in AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Exam). Students interested in seeking admission under the Management Quota seats can apply directly at respective colleges for which a separate College level Counseling is conducted.
Annual Fees for engineering program in Group institutes is approx Rs. 65000/- per year.
