Rayat Institute of Pharmacy (RIP), Nawanshahr was established in the year 2003. The institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. RIP offering Diploma, Degree and Masters in Pharmacy with total strength of nearly 280 students.
College has completed 3 batches successfully with 100% placement at various levels and some of the students perusing higher degrees. At master’s level, RIP is offering specialization in three field’s namely Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics.
The minimum academic qualification for admission to the Pharmacy program is a minimum aggregate of 50% in class X and aggregate of 50% in class XII or its equivalent.
A candidate must have passed his/ her 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Maths or Biology as one of the optional subjects and should have 50% overall aggregate in all the subjects.
It is mandatory for the candidate to have pass grade in each subject of qualifying examination.
The College has a beautiful infrastructure with red bricks and has also been declared as a heritage building. The beautifully maintained college gardens add to its pristine glory and newly built canteen and the cafeteria offer good variety of food and beverages, serving as a lively patter of budding students. It also has clubs, library and well equipped labs.
Placements are provided to deserving students. A Placement Cell functions in the College for the students regarding employment opportunities within India and abroad. The training & Placement service operates year round to facilitate contacts between companies & Graduates.
