Established in 1985, R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engg in Guntur is among the eight educational institutions running under the umbrella of the Nagarjuna Education Society. Today, it is considered as one of the largest engineering institutions in the South India. The college is affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and is among the top 100 engineering colleges of India.

R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engg, Guntur is known for equipping the students with the best skills and techniques that are often required in the field of technology. The school offers four years full time Bachelor program of Technology in different branches such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Information technology. It also imparts Master level programs in Computer Application and Technology.


Admissions:

The students are admitted into the four year undergraduate programs in two categories. The first category, Category-A seats constitute 70% of the total seats in the college. The Category-A seats are filled through Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh.  The second category, Category-B seats constitute 30% of the total available seats. The Category-B seats are filled by the management through the news paper advertisement as per rules.



Facilities:

R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engg is located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The campus hosts several academic buildings, hostels and residential quarters. It also has Computer Center, Central Library, CAD lab, Geo Lab, Concrete Lab, Heat Engine lab, Electrical Machines lab, Virtual Instrumentation lab, Mechanical Workshop, multipurpose hall, conference and seminar hall. The institute is well equipped with all the modern facilities. It has well maintained book library, computer lab with high speed internet connectivity. All the science labs are highly maintained and have been equipped with modern machineries and equipments.
