R.A.Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai was set up in the year 1940. It is a higher educational College, which was launched by Seth Ramdeoji Anandilal Podar. In the last 72 years, the institute has reached to the state where Institute is recognized as one of the best institutes for the study of commerce & economics in India.
The institute is still rendering its services to those aspirants who want to enter into the evergreen field of commerce. It had a very humble beginning in the year 1942 through its B.Com degree with the enrollment of 150 students. After the continuous hard work for 8 years, the college got its affiliation for the University of Mumbai in the year 1950.

The Institution has a Central Computer Laboratory with 50 Computer and latest Software, Printing and Internet facility.
