Punjab Institute of Management and Technology (PIMT) is a technical college established in the year 1997 by Gobindgarh Educational and Social Welfare Trust. PIMT runs full-time AICTE approved postgraduate programmes in MBA, MCA & UG in addition to programmes in BBA, BCA, B.Com (Professional), BMS (ATH) and BSc (Agriculture). It has been rated one of the Top B-Schools by B-School Survey as well as one of the Best MCA College by Silicon India. MandiGobindgarh, despite having a high preference for education did not have good colleges for higher education.
