Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) is an engineering college in Bangalore. The college is an Autonomous Institution affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), with the concurrence of VTU / Govt. of Karnataka / UGC and Accredited by AICTE, Govt. of India.

It offers a four-year graduate programme in engineering leading to the award of the degree Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.).

It is the only unaided private engineering college in Karnataka state selected by Govt. of India for World Bank funding under TEQIP.

Admissions:

Aspirants interested in taking admission in the college can enroll their name through online process. Online application form will be available on the official website of the college.

Admission to college will be done on the basis of valid scores of the entrance test conducted at national level or state level for engineering courses. Along with the scores, you also have to submit the documents of the past qualification.

Final selection depends on the personal interview taken by the college. List of selected students will be displayed on the notice board of the college.

The Placement Cell of the Institute is responsible for arranging training of the undergraduate and postgraduate students in order to make them comfortable in the recruitment process of various organizations and to provide world class job opportunities in a range of private and public sector organizations. The Placement Cell also arranges pre-placement orientation to the students prior to formal campus interviews from senior executives of major industries.

It has a close interaction with organizations such as DRDO, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, DELL, TATA Elxsi, EMC2, Cypress Semiconductors, FlUIDYN, CPRI etc. for research, academic and Training & Placement activities.
