Nirma University of Science & Technology in Ahmedabad is one of the oldest self financed engineering colleges in Gujarat. It was set up in the year 2004 by Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF). According to a recent survey, the institute has been ranked among top 20 engineering colleges in India.

The institute is known for offering a wide range of under graduate and post graduate courses in the field of technology and Sciences.

Admissions:

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS :-
 
15% supernumerary seats are available for admission to PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) & Foreign Students. Of this about one-third, i.e. 5% is reserved for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf and South East Asia.

Candidates seeking admissions to these seats should have passed their Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with subjects viz. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

The Fee for PIO & Foreign Students is US$ 6,000 or equivalent Rupees per year. The fee for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf and South East Asia is US $4000 or equivalent Rupees.

A one time processing fee of Rs.25,000/- is to be paid by PIO / Foreign Students & Children of Indian Workers in Gulf and South East Asia.



Facilities:

Nirma University of Science & Technology is situated on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway, at the outskirts of Ahmedabad. It has well equipped laboratories, sufficient books and periodicals in the library and fleet of buses for transportation. The college also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
