Promoted in the year 2007, The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad is an Indian public pharmaceutical research university and aims to serve as a leading global institution in the field of higher learning and research in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Management. It is one of the seven schools under India's Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and offers Masters and Doctoral degrees in pharmaceutical sciences. NIPER-Hyderabad is being developed as a National Centre to cater to the needs of pharmaceutical academia and the industry.
