NIPER Guwahati is the fifth institute to be included in the list of the premium institutes under the Department of Pharmaceuticals. Founded in the year 2008, NIPER-Guwahati is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. It offers post graduate and research programs in various disciplines to their students.
