Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmadabad (MICA) is an autonomous non-profit management education institution started in the year 1991. It has set a criterion as the first residential academic institution in the country, wholly dedicated to meeting the needs of the communications industry. The programmes offered by the institute are approved by the All India Council for technical Education (AICTE) and Association of Indian universities (ALU).
It aims to develop innovative professionals in the practice, development, management of communications to serve the needs of industry and society through education, research and advocacy. Institute has provided the industry with innovative leaders with mental discipline to blend concepts and ideas with strategic planning and action creatively.
 

Admissions:
Applicants willing to seek admission in the institute can register through online or offline process. Application forms will be available on the official website of the institute.
Institute accepts valid scores of CAT/ XAT/ GMAT entrance exam for various programs. Along with the valid scores, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (10 + 2 + 3 system) with minimum 50% marks, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
Selection will be completely done on the merit basis and will be called for written exam, group discussion and personal interview.

Facilities:
MICA’s campus sprawled over 19 acres can be best described by its red bricked walls, ample open spaces, state of the art infrastructure, modern amenities and rich landscaping.
The Main and the New Academic Block and the Digital Communications Centre dramatize openness and creativity for students to think out of the box. These buildings house the Reception area, the Directors and faculty offices, Administrative offices, two classrooms with a seating capacity of 43 each, four seminar halls that can accommodate a total of 288 students, an auditorium, Conference/ Committee Room, Computer Labs, Server Control Room and the Media Lab. All facilities have Wi-Fi connectivity, latest multimedia equipment and air conditioning.
