Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNIT) formerly known as Motilal Nehru Engineering College was founded in the year 1961 as a joint venture of the central government and the government of Uttar Pradesh. Due to a continuous endeavoring in its quality attributes such as excellent infrastructure, holistic curriculum, state of the art pedagogy and an excellent blend of seasoned academicians, the college was awarded with the status of a deemed university.
