The Manipal Institute of Technology is a constituent institution of Manipal Academy of Higher Education that specializes in engineering. Institute contains 17 academic departments and offers undergraduate, graduate and post graduate degrees. Promoted in the year 1957, it is one of the first self-financed colleges in India and is recognizedby the AICTE.
