Ever since its inception, Dental Science is considered as one of the evergreen options in the field of Medical. The reason behind this is that it cures all the problems, related to gums, teeth and mouth. Keeping this thing in mind, a wide range of dental institutes has been established across India, post independence. Among all those, Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir`s Dental College and Hospital is the one that was founded in the year 1991 in order to generate some highly qualified dentists for the future of the country.
Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir`s Dental Collge and Hospital started its dental program in the year 1991, after the approval from Dental Council of India. In order to accomplish its aim, the college focuses on facilitating students with its quality education through its five years full time undergraduate course of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). The college also offers master level program in Dentistry (MDS) in nine different disciplines. BDS and MDS courses are affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
The admission is done on the basis of the Entrance exam.
Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir`s Dental Collge and Hospital is located near Mumbai-Agra road in Panchvati near Nashik, Mahrashtra. Today, the Institute boasts of state-of-art facilities. It has a sprawling campus of 1,27,000 sq ft that features well maintained residential quarters for staff, a playground, Bank, a post office and communication center. Another striking feature of the college is that it is situated on the banks on Godavari River. The institute also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
