Kalasalingam School of Architecture (KSOA) was started with the aim to provide world-class learning environment in architectural design; in the deeper areas of South Tamilnadu. School offers five years full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and two years full-time Master of architecture in Habitat Design (M.Arch). The institution started in 2012 with the approval of Council of Architecture, New Delhi; today the institution has a sanctioned in take of 80 students (B.Arch) and 20 students (M.Arch).

B Arch: Admission to Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is as per the norms of Council of Architecture (COA) and Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education. Below is the eligibility detail:
 
• Higher secondary (+2) or equivalent with 50% aggregate and mathematics as a subject.
• 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.
• International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
• Pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
• Pass in JEE-Aptitude test in Architecture.
 
M Arch: B. Arch degree from a recognized University, with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks. Candidates awaiting B. Arch results may also apply.
