Jagannath Barooah College is an autonomous college affiliated to Dibrugarh University and recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).The college offers Higher Secondary, Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses and aims to formulate adequate action plan to enable learners to equip themselves with the competitive national and global environment.
 

Admissions:
Newspaper Notice inviting applications for admission into the different programmes shall be issued by the Principals of the college as per the Academic Calendar of the University. 
 
The admission criteria shall be fixed by the Academic Council from time to time whenever necessary. 
 
The college may also adopt their own policy for admission or selection of eligible candidates for admission complying with the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University.
