The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (or IIHMR) is an educational institute that deals with study of Health & Hospital Management. Formed in the year 1984, in Jaipur, IIHMR is the first of its kind in India focusing on health systems improvement and management. It has been accredited with A.I.C.T.E. (Govt. of India)
The institute offers two years full time postgraduate diploma with specialization in pharmaceutical management, hospital management and health management for administering the public health systems. Every year, college accepts 120 students for each course.The Institute undertakes training, research and consultancy in health management in close collaboration with international organizations such as UNFPA, UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, ODA, DANIDA, KFW & GTZ, NORAD, CARE and USAID. It also works for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (GOI), Planning Commission, Indian Council of Medical Research, state governments and others.


Admissions:

PGDM : -

Candidates aspiring for admission to the PGDPM program are required to fill in an application form, which can be obtained from the Institute by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash or by sending a demand draft for Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of "Institute of Health Management Research", payable at Jaipur. Application forms can also be downloaded from our website: www.iihmr.org . In the latter case, applications must be sent along with a DD of Rs. 1000/-.
