Institute of Apparel Management (IAM) is one of the blooming fashion designing institutes in India established in the year 2007 by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. It is the pioneer Apparel Multi-Varsity in India. The institute is known for offering excellent designing programs to those people who want to make fashion designing as their profession.
Along with affiliation  to Indira Gandhi National Open University, the institute also has academic collaborations with few foreign institutes such as Wolverhampton University UK, Edexcel UK, Ontario College of Art & Design Toronto, Canada MOD’SPE, Paris Studio Moda Rosella  Italy and Manchester Metropolitan University UK.

The most striking feature of the institute is that it has good networks with approx 8000 clothes’ manufacturers. The courses offered by the institute have been developed with through insight and understanding of market and consumer behavior, materials and production process.
