Indira College of Pharmacy, Pune is affiliated to University of Pune and is approved by AICTE and PCI. The college is in constant search for excellence in order to strengthen the efforts and make India a country to be reckoned with in the world of community pharmacy.
It aims to create a centre for academic excellence by redefining pharmacy education where the students will be imparted professional knowledge, skills, attitude, values and ethics with a thrust on meaningful research that will fulfill the industry’s needs & serve the community.
The candidate should have passed H.S.C. examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory along with one of the following subjects Mathematics / Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science and secured minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks in case of candidate of Backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) and MH-CET.
Institute provides excellent academic and administrative facilities on campus. It offers students with an infrastructure for learning as well as facilities for simplifying the procurement of essential commodities and services. The campus includes facilities such as pollution free environment, separate hostel for boys and girls, transportation, sports activities, stationary and communication centre, gym, health centre, canteen, cafeteria, etc.
The Training and Placement Cell organizes a number of training programs for the students of all semesters with the help of in-house experts and experts drawn from professional agencies. The activities have proved exceptionally useful in shaping the career of students.
