Indian Institute of Management and Commerce was founded by Vasavi Foundation (settled by Vasavi Seva Kendram and Vysya Hostel Trust Board) in the year 1973. It is one of the premier commerce institutions in India. The institute offers excellent job oriented programs such that students can sharpen their skills and become a responsible citizen of the country. It is affiliated to Osmania University.
Due to its continuous endeavoring in education, the college was brought into the category of grant-in-aid in the year 1980. Since its inception, the college has been imparting three years full time under graduate course of B.Com. It also offers Bachelor of Computer Application and Bachelor of Science with specialization in Maths, Statistics and Computer Science. The courses that are offered by the institute have been accredited by NAAC.
Entrance exam is been conducted by the institute and the students have to appear the exam to get the admission in this college.
The college offers highly equipped and well furnished class rooms and libraries. It provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls. It also has spacious rooms that are meant for carrying out extracurricular activities.
