Inaugurated in the year 1991, IIFA (Indian Institute of Fashion and Animation) Multimedia, Bangalore is a part of the Lancaster Group of Institutions. The college offers courses for Interior designing, Game designing, Fashion designing and Animation. The primary objective of IIFA Multimedia is to impart creative and innovative education of high standards in the field of Animation, Fashion, Interior, Game development, Visual Communications, Graphic designing and Hotel Management.
 
The professional, university courses offered by IIFA are in collaboration with the Bharathiar University & Bangalore University. There is a great demand for IIFA College and designers at present. It is an ISO certified 9001: 2008 college and offers close to 100 programs under one roof.

Placement Assistance is given to all the students during their course duration. Based on the performance students get offer letters from the much coveted and prestigious companies even before they appear in the final exams. The placement cell collects the resumes along with a portfolio/demo reel of all students who are successfully completing their courses. Students are then prepared for interviews and aptitude tests. Their resumes are categorized based on their specialization and mapped to the industry requirements. Starting salaries range between Rs. 1.2 lakh to 3.0 lakh per annum depending on the candidate’s experience and expertise.
