Himalayan Pharmacy Institute was established in the year 1990 is the pioneer institution conducting Pharmacy courses in the State of Sikkim. It is an independent, co-educational and self financed institution offering Diploma, Undergraduate and Post graduate pharmacy programmes.

The Managing Committee of Himalayan Pharmacy Institute is composed of members from the Govt. of Sikkim and nominee from AICTE & University.
 


Admissions:

Students seeking admission should submit the applications in the prescribed form, attached to the prospectus, duly filled in and signed by the applicant. The Prospectus cum Information Brochure along with application form can be collected from the college.

Student must be passing in 10+2 Examination in Science stream securing a minimum of 45% marks in PCM/PCB combination from any recognized Board. Those who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy from any Institute recognized by PCI are eligible for direct admission into B. Pharm 3rd Semester through the provision of Lateral Entry.

The institute campus is fully residential and equipped with student hostels, mess, lecture halls, seminar rooms, library, faculty and administrative offices, auditorium, executive training and development centre, faculty and staff housing, dispensary, and other support facilities.
