Himachal Dental College was established in the year 1992 in order to provide excellent education to those students who want to enter into the field of dentistry. The college features a perfect blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. It is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University and is recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Dentistry has always been an evergreen branch in the field of medicine. Keeping this thing in mind, the college imparts a wide range of courses, related to the dentistry. One of the flagship courses offered by the institute is BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). BDS is a five years full time degree course. The college also conducts Master level program in dentistry. MDS is a three years full time program.
