Government Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute, Bangalore, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Karnataka State, was founded in 1938 by Sir Mirza Ismail and Sir M. Visvesvarayya, the two statesmen.
This institution is the first of its kind in South India with a view to provide well trained personnel for higher rungs of the organized textile industry covering various facets of the industry.
Admissions for B.Tech. & B.E. courses are done through Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority, Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore. And for M.Tech.(Textile Tech.) and Ph.D.(Textile Tech.) is through GATE Entrance Test conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The campus is aesthetic, user friendly, spacious, well lit and comfortable. Institute also provides Hostels, Computer Lab, Library, Audio Visual Section and many more.
