Government College of Engineering, Karad (GCEK), is a technical institute in Maharashtra state in India. Over the years the college has produced about 7200 engineers and more than 300 computer professionals through a Master of Computer Application course in the Engineering faculty under Shivaji University.
The institute aims to emerge as a Technical- Institution of National repute driven by excellence in imparting value based education and innovation in research, to face the global needs of the profession. It offers undergraduate programs in five disciplines and postgraduate programs in five areas of specialization besides the MCA course.

Institute accepts valid scores of MHT-CET entrance exams for various programs. Selection will be completely done on the merit basis and will be called for group discussion and personal interview.
