Established in the year 1998, Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college located in Andhra Pradesh. It is the first college of East Godavari district to be granted Autonomous Status. It is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, and was recognized by the UGC. GIET got the NAAC 'A' grade and is ISO-certified. Institute offers undergraduate and post graduate courses to the students.
