Founded in the year 2007, Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT), Bhubaneswar is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute that provides courses in B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA. GIFT Engineering college is now a remote center to IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur for conducting ISTE workshops and was awarded as the Most Promising Engineering College and Best Engineering College by Governor of Odisha.

Admission into the postgraduate programs (M.Tech.) is made primarily through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and O-JEE testing.
