Xavier Institute of Management  is considered as one of the most dynamic, vibrant and academically exciting management schools in India. Its existence can be traced back to 1987, founded by the Government of Orissa in collaboration with the Jesuit Society. It is an autonomous institution and is not affiliated with any university. Admissions:

Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test (XAT or CAT) scores will be called for Writing Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses for attending the interview session.
The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, Writing Ability Test, the Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.



Facilities:

The institute is located in the capital city of Orissa i.e. Bhubaneshwar.  It has a sprawling 20 acres fully residential campus that includes Administrative Buildings, Studio Apartment and Management Development center. The classrooms are spacious and specifically designed to facilitate participative learning. They are equipped with all the necessary presentation facilities like overhead projectors and screens.
