The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), is an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India and is fully aided by Central Government of India. Since its inception in 1960, FTII has become India's premier film and television institute, with its alumni becoming biggest known actors and directors in the Indian film industry.
The Film and Television Institute of India is designed for a new generation of storytellers: visual and performing artists who share a passion for motion pictures and want to learn by making their own projects in a hands-on, intensive program.
 

Admissions:

Applicants willing to seek admission in the institute can register through online or offline process. Application forms will be available on the official website of the institute.
Candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which is different for different courses.
Selection will be done by conducting written test, group discussion and personal interview.
Registration fees is Rs. 2150/- for general and Rs. 650/- for reserved category.
 


Facilities:

FTII has an excellent infrastructure with modern amenities for the students to pursue education with full of enthusiasm. The campus includes 2 film studios, sound department, television studios, multimedia laboratory, books, film and video library, screenings, sports and gaming facilities. It also provides hostels for girls and boys.
