Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at IIT Roorkee came into existence in the year 1998 to impart formal education in management science through regular MBA programme, apart from Ph.D. in various disciplines. It has total intake of 95 for MBA program.
It has ranked consistently among Top 10 Public MBA colleges of India in 2012 & 2013 by Careers360 and has won gold medal in ACARA Challenge ‘12 - conducted by University Of Minnesota, Business plan to tackle Environmental Sustainability Challenge.
Applicants who wish to seek admission in the institute can enroll their name through online or offline process. Application forms and brochure will be available on the official website of the institute.
It accepts valid scores of JMET entrance exam held collectively by IITs and IISc each year or CAT entrance test. Along with the scores, candidate should have 60% aggregate marks in any Bachelor’s Degree (after 10+2) from a recognized university. Final year students are also eligible to apply.
The final selection of the candidate is made on the basis of group discussion, personal interview and work experience.

Fully Wi-Fi enabled Department is housed in an exquisitely designed double storeyed building with four spacious lecture rooms, a large computer laboratory, a double storeyed library with 6100 books, syndicate and committee halls, auditorium with teaching aids and a large central atrium. An excellent departmental library and a state of the art computer laboratory augment the centralized resources available to students at the Institute level.
