Founded in the year 2002, The Department of Computer Science imparts quality education in Computer Science and Computer Applications. The department offers MCA, M. Phil. and Ph. D. programmes in emerging fields of Computer Science and runs short term Certificate courses in Hardware & Maintenance, Computer Networking, Dot Net Technologies and Java Programming. It aims to redefine the curriculum keeping pace with the liberalization and globalization of Education.

Admission will be based on the merit of students in the qualifying examinations.
Students must have Bachelors' degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline or any other degree recognized equivalent there to from a recognized university.
Candidates appearing in the Final year of the qualifying examination or those whose result of the same is awaited can also apply and appear in the Entrance Test provisionally.
