College of Dental Surgery Mangalore is considered as the oldest dental college in the state of Karnataka. The college was founded in the year 1987 in order to provide excellent education to those students who want to enter into the field of dentistry. The college features a perfect blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. It is affiliated to Mangalore University and is recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Dentistry has always been an evergreen branch in the field of medicine. Keeping this thing in mind, the college imparts a wide range of courses, related to the dentistry. One of the flagship courses offered by the institute is BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). BDS is a five years full time degree course.
