Christ University in Bangalore is a self financed university, which was founded in 1969 by the priests of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). The college was accorded with the status of a deemed university in the year 2008. The university also holds a unique distinction of being the premier college to get accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), for its excellent pedagogy.

The university is renowned for offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of academic streams that include including Law, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Sciences, and Social Sciences. Christ College/University offers professional courses in a number of fields including Business Management, Computer Application, Hotel Management, Mass Communication, Social Work, Engineering and Tourism.


Admissions:

Applicants can obtain the application forms after remitting the prescribed application fee at Counter No.7, Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University Main Campus, Bangalore.
 
Online Mode for Admission  :
Applicants can fill-in and submit the application forms online on the University website. The online application can be either be processed after remitting the application fee at SBI core banking branches in the prescribed SBI Challan Format given in University website  or through the payment gateway with a valid Credit/Debit Card/Net banking facility (details are given under the preferred program page in the University website).

The university is sprawled over a large campus of 25 acres (100,000 m2) which is part of the 100-acre (400,000 m2) Dharmaram College Campus located in the central part of Bangalore city.
