Calicut Medical College is a premier medical college located in the city of Kozhikode (Calicut) in Kerala, India. It was established in 1957 as the second medical college in Kerala. Since its inception, the institution has been attracting students for medical education across the state of Kerala. It is affiliated to University of Calicut. Kozhikode.

The college offers a wide range of under graduate and post graduate courses in medical education. MBBS is one of the main courses offered by the institute. Other programs include B.Sc in Nursing and Bachelor of Pharmacy. Calicut Medical College also provides excellent facilities for super specialty program of Doctor of Medicine in General Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology.

The Selection of the Students is been done on the Entrance Exam which is conducted by the College.



Facilities:

The institute has its sprawling campus on 270 acres of land at Calicut in Kerala. The library has a sufficient number of text books in all subjects. It also hosts a good collection of specialized journals and magazines. The campus is divided into cluster of buildings that have several medical and Para medical departments and laboratories. It also offers separate hostel facility for boys and girls.
